Race favorite Majestic Marvel (Dexter Dunn) left alertly from post eight dueling with leader Home’n Dry (Tyler Davis) through the first quarter. Approaching the half, the favorite made a costly break affecting Home’n Dry who also made a break, giving the lead to Theresademoninme (Corey Callahan).
Callahan was able to guide his trotter out of harms way and lead to the three-quarter pole in 1:25.2, fending off pressure through the stretch from Royal Becca J (Jack Parker Jr.) who was a gaining second in 1:54.4.
Owned by Howard Taylor, Michael Casallino Jr., and the late Thomas Lazzaro, it was the tenth victory of the year for the 8-year-old gelding, trained by Dylan Davis.
Racing continues at the Dover Downs oval on Wednesday with a first post of 4:30 p.m.
