Columbus, OH — The United States Trotting Association reminds its members that the terms of 13 USTA membership district directors are set to expire during the Association’s next election cycle, which will conclude with the seating of the Board of Directors at its annual meeting in Columbus on Saturday, March 9, 2025.
As per USTA bylaws, the names of incumbent directors automatically appear on the ballot unless they notify the Association by Monday, Sept. 30 that they do not plan to seek another term.
USTA members may file as candidates by submitting to the USTA a written petition signed by at least 25 voting members from the district the person seeks to represent. Those declarations are due no later than Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Any candidate for director must be an individual member of the Association and, upon election, must maintain that membership through the three-year term of office.
Ballots will be sent out in early November and accepted until the Election Day deadline of Tuesday, Dec. 10.

District 12 – Stacy Chiodo
