HRM-HOF President Lawrence DeVan and Director Janet Terhune accepted the donation at the Hall of Fame ceremony from USHWA President Barry Lefkowitz.

“USHWA remains proud of its longstanding relationship with the Museum and the Hall,” Lefkowitz noted. “We are pleased to be able to make a donation to help the Museum and the Hall continue its work: honoring the best of the best of our sport, showcasing its heritage, and exposing our present vitality to the Museum’s many visitors.

“USHWA will be working especially closely with the Hall this coming year to reconfigure the area devoted to the Communicators Hall of Fame, which literally has no further room for expansion, so that the leading communicators in harness history can continue to be properly honored. A joint committee is forming to explore and recommend the best path for doing so.”
