When purchasing a horse, look for the sale transfer form in your buyer’s packet. You can immediately turn it in at the USTA table and as soon as your payment clears the sales company, they will release the hold and the transfer will automatically complete. There is no need to wait for your payment to clear; hard copy papers will not be mailed to you after the sale — take advantage of this streamlined process so you don’t forget to transfer ownership later.

A USTA ID Technician will be available at the sale to freeze brand or microchip any horses that currently have the other form of permanent identification. Stop by the USTA table to get your sale horse on the list to be done before being shipped off the grounds.
