USTA at Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale

Columbus, OH — The USTA will be set up at the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday (Oct. 20-21).

A representative will be available to process ownership transfers, membership renewals, Hoof Beats subscriptions and conduct any other USTA business.

Limited items will be available to purchase on site, such as hats, select publications and microchip scanners. Acceptable forms of payment for these items, and any USTA paperwork submitted, is cash, check or credit card.

Sample transfer form from the buyers packet.

When purchasing a horse, look for the sale transfer form in your buyer’s packet. You can immediately take it to the USTA table to process and as soon as your payment clears the sales company, they will release the hold and the transfer will automatically complete. There is no need to wait for your payment to clear and papers be mailed to you after the sale; take advantage of this streamlined process so you don’t forget to transfer ownership later.

USTA ID Technician Mike Moss is available at the sale to freeze brand or microchip any horses that currently have the other form of permanent identification. Stop by the USTA table to get your sale horse on the list to be done before being shipped off the grounds.
