Columbus, OH — Standardbred Canada is reporting that Volume Eight, the Dan Patch 2-Year-Old Trotting Colt of the Year in 2022, will not race again in 2023.

The son of Chapter Seven-Lass A Rope has been shut down after the colt suffered a suspensory tear.
