Campbellville, ON — With an unbeaten streak now four starts long, freshman filly She’s A Fan is accumulating quite a fan club of her own.
Carl Jamieson’s precocious pupil will be going for the biggest purse of her fledgling career on Thursday night (July 31) at Mohawk, in the C$53,100 final of the Whenuwishuponastar Pacing Series.

She’s A Fan will be seeking her fifth straight win on Thursday.
She’s A Fan, a daughter of Artiscape, out of the On The Road Again mare Tear Drop, was a $22,000 yearling purchase at Harrisburg last year and has already paid back her purchase price twice over. Jamieson co-owns with Thomas Kyron, The Hastings Mill Inc., and George Harrison.
Jamieson’s other entry, Western Ideal daughter Break The News, also commands respect. She was a solid second in both of the initial legs of this series, beaten just a quarter-length each time, and could be ready to seize her first stakes victory. Like her stablemate, she is owned by Jamieson, Kyron, and Harrison, along with George Arthur Slack.
Jamieson’s double entry will be leaving from posts three (She’s A Fan) and five (Break The News) in the final. Together, they’re rated the 7-5 morning line favorites, with Bob McIntosh trainee West Of L A (at 5-2) their most likely challenger coming from post nine.
Catch the freshman pacing fillies in action in race four. Post time is 8:27 p.m. (EDT).
