Wild Wild Western to stand in PA at Lindwood Farm

Meadow Lands, PA — Race tested and true, proving good things can come around again, the owners of Wild Wild Western are excited that their stallion will stand at Lindwood Farm for the 2023 breeding season.

Like a time-tested American V-8, breeding with this proven product of Western Ideal and Caila Fra (by Artsplace) will have horsemen, from the PA Fairs to the five-eighths and even the milers, excited about potential value and dreams in this stallion.

Trained and raced by Norm Parker, Wild Wild Western began his career at 3 in 2019 (owner decision to not race at 2). In April, facing top competition from Pennsylvania and Ohio, he won the Tom Kirwan Memorial Pace. The next week he placed second in the PA Sire Stakes. This was followed by a Sire Stakes win and another second at Pocono and Philadelphia, respectively. A third in The Adios elim and a strong fourth in The Adios were followed by his third-place finish in the PA Sire Stakes championship.

An established Open pacer at age four, Wild Wild Western has consistently proven his gate speed and durability allowing him to increase his per race earnings through age 6. (Avg. per race at age 4: $3,406, age 5: $4,428, age 6: $5,437).

A look at the annual racing summary on USTA Pathway will show what type of horse he has been. The 2022 season saw the 6-year-old win eight consecutive Open starts at his home track and in November, Wild Wild Western set his all-time mark of 1:48.1 in a wire-to-wire Maryland Preferred Invitational win at Rosecroft Raceway.

As of this announcement, Wild Wild Western has raced 98 races with 33 wins, 26 places, and 16 shows and a bankroll of $546,181.

And it runs in the family, as his dam Caila Fra p,3,1:55.4h ($32,3490 is also the dam of Ms Caila J Fra p,3,1:49 ($292,230, Angelo J Fra p,5,1:49.4f ($570,295), Lord Of Winterfell p,5,1:51.2f ($298,077), and Vincent Fra p,5,1:50.4f ($226,180).

We encourage you to seriously consider the impact and value Wild Wild Western will have in your breeding and racing operations.

Wild Wild Western will stand for $3,500.
