Winona, MN – Winnerup (Credit Winner x Up Front Hotsey x Sj’s Caviar) will stand his inaugural season in Minnesota in 2025. The 9 year old trotter tied the all-age track record in 2023 at Running Aces Racetrack, but has found immense success across the country on tracks of all sizes. He’s banked $515,287 and boasts a mark of 1:52.1 with a beaten time of 1:51.1.

Winnerup began his career with trainer Trond Smedshammer in the New York Sire Stakes, winning several legs and finishing second to Gimpanzee in the final of his 3-year-old year. Following that, Winnerup developed into a hard-knocking racehorse, displaying his longevity and tenacity. With 134 starts to his name, he accumulated 24 wins, 29 seconds, and 18 thirds.
Winnerup is the only Credit Winner stallion standing in Minnesota, making him an excellent choice for a variety of mares. Though his pedigree doesn’t stop there. Winnerup’s dam, Up Front Hotsey, was a major stake-winner in her own right, posting a mark of 1:52.4 and bankrolling $433,643.
