Wiseman passed away in early 2021 after a year-long battle with stage-4 colon cancer. He was a popular and well respected trainer and driver who ranks as one of the all-time most successful at Running Aces.

This year’s Wiseman final sports a deeply talented field of nine, who have collective earnings of over $3.4 million and a combined total of 258 wins.

The fastest elimination winner, Rock Party (Cantab Hall) has been installed as the 3-1 morning line favorite from post four with regular pilot Dean Magee for trainer Bob Johnson and owners Chupp Racing. They posted an impressive first-over effort to win by three-quarters of a length in 1:54.3 in last week’s elimination action.

Winnerup (Credit Winner) has been tabbed at 4-1 with Luke Plano scheduled to drive for trainer Williams Hernandez and trainer Terrence Smith. They were fourth in that same elimination split and most notably the pair recently equaled the fastest trotting mile at Aces with a 1-1/4 length tally in 1:53.4 in the Open handicap on July 9.

Jack Vernon (Muscle Hill, 9-2 M/L) is a classy 10-year-old veteran with 43 career wins, he was second by a nose in his elimination split last Sunday in 1:55.4 and will be piloted by his trainer Todd Warren.

Fourth choice on the morning line at 5-1 is Perlucky (Lucky Chucky), who was second to Rock Party last week and has drawn the rail post for the final for trainer Bob Lems and owners Thestable Perlucky Group.
