Milton, ON — Woodbine Entertainment today released details for its upcoming Winter Series late-closing program, including the addition of four new events.

A total of 10 events will be contested over the course of December to March at Woodbine Mohawk Park, with all events featuring two preliminary legs and an added money final. Nominations close Dec. 1.

For this upcoming winter, Woodbine has added a pair of claiming series for Ontario sired 4-year-olds, plus the Ontario Boys and Ontario Girls for Ontario sired 4-year-olds. Horses entered in the claiming series are eligible to be claimed in all legs (preliminary and final).

The four new events join the returning Niagara, Valedictory, Blizzard, Snowshoe, Wine & Roses and Family Day.

Nominations close for all events on Wednesday (Dec. 1). The nomination fee for all events is C$200 or US$170. To view the nomination form and conditions, click here.
