Milton, ON — Woodbine Entertainment management has announced Friday night’s (Jan. 12) card of live racing at Woodbine Mohawk Park has been canceled due to an impending snowstorm.

The cancelation of Friday’s card was made in the best interest of all racing participants, staff and fans with heavy snowfall and strong wind gusts of up to 70 kilometers an hour forecasted to start early evening.

Woodbine Mohawk Park has also canceled training for Saturday morning.

Live racing is expected to resume Saturday (Jan. 13) evening. Post time is 7:10 p.m.

London, ON — The Raceway at Western Fair District has canceled live racing for Friday evening as a winter storm system approaches the region late this afternoon and this evening.

The next live race program at The Raceway is slated for Monday evening (Jan. 15) at 5:50 p.m.
