World Driving Championship wraps up Friday in Berlin

Hightstown, NJ — The fourth and final round of the 2023 World Driving Championship will be Friday (Aug. 18) at Rennbahn Berlin in Germany. The five WDC races are carded as the last five races of the night, six through 10. Post time for the sixth race is 2 p.m. (EDT).

Jordan Ross, representing the U.S., notched his first WDC win Wednesday and will enter the final round in seventh place, but only 13 points from second. Defending champion Rick Ebbinge of the Netherlands tops the leaderboard and holds a 33-point cushion over second-place Peter McMullen of Australia. The only driver to ever repeat as WDC champion was Norway’s Ulf Thoresen, who did it in 1979 and 1981.
