Yonkers, NY – Just one winning favorite and three horses that prevailed at odds of 46-1, 8-1 and 10-1 led to the early Pick-4 not being hit on Thursday (Sept. 3) at MGM Yonkers Raceway. That means there will be an $8,209.61 carryover and a $40,000 guaranteed pool in the sequence on Friday (Sept. 4).
The guarantee in the early Pick-4 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program, and free past performances, courtesy of TrackMaster, will be available at handicapping.ustrotting.com. The early Pick-4, which gets underway in race one, has a $1 minimum and a takeout rate of 20 percent.
MGM Yonkers Raceway will have live racing on Friday and Saturday the rest of this week, then will be open Monday through Thursday and Saturday the following week, with Friday (Sept. 11) dark in preparation for the MGM Yonkers International Trot program. Post time is 6:45 p.m. (EDT) except on those two Saturday cards, which kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 5 and 11:50 a.m. on Sept. 12, which is MGM Yonkers International Trot Day.
Following the MGM Yonkers International Trot Day card, MGM Yonkers Raceway will shift back to its Monday through Friday live schedule with first race post time each night at 6:45 p.m. (EDT).
