Yonkers, NY — Due to the impending late-winter snowstorm, Yonkers Raceway has canceled its racing program for Tuesday (March 14). It’s the second cancelation of the season.

Evening simulcasting has also been canceled (no afternoon imports were scheduled).

Live racing (with evening simulcasting) is scheduled to resume Thursday night (March 16), with afternoon simulcasting scheduled for Wednesday (March 15). Post time for the live Thursday card is 7:10 p.m., as usual.

Tuesday’s cancelation wipes out the second of three preliminary rounds of the Sagamore Hill Pacing Series. By condition, this round is not rescheduled. The third (and final) preliminary round goes next Tuesday (March 21).

Horsemen should note that the double-draw for Sunday and Monday (March 19 and 20) takes place Wednesday (March 15), with the entry box closing at 9 a.m. sharp. For any questions, contact the race office at 914.457.2627.
