Yonkers’ Empire Terrace open for Sunday brunch Aug. 5

Yonkers, NY — In conjunction with the opening round of Yonkers Raceway’s inaugural French-American Trotting Club Series, the Empire Terrace shall be open for a brunch buffet this Sunday (Aug. 5).

The Terrace opens at 11:30 a.m. in advance of that afternoon’s first post of 12:30 p.m.

The Raceway’s French guests, as well as horsemen, owners, and fans, can watch the races while enjoying ‘themed’ delicacies including French toast (what else?), Coq au Vin, Ratatouille, Enchaud Perigourdin pork loins, pasta with lobster meat in a cream sauce, an omelet station and other selections.

The cost for the buffet is $24.95 per person (plus tax and gratuities), though there is no charge for participants in the French-American Trotting Club races, courtesy of the Standardbred Owners Association of New York.
