Yonkers, NY – Thursday night’s (Sept, 3) program at MGM Yonkers Raceway got a boost to the wagering menu when no one hit the Pick-5 on Tuesday (Sept. 1), triggering a $6,676.44 carryover and a $35,000 pool in the sequence.
The guarantee in the Pick-5 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program and free past performances for the Pick-5, courtesy of TrackMaster, will be available at handicapping.ustrotting.com. The Pick-5, which begins in race five and has a $1 minimum, has a takeout rate of 20 percent.
MGM Yonkers Raceway will have live racing on Thursday through Saturday the rest of this week, then will be open Monday through Thursday and Saturday the following week, with Friday (Sept. 11) dark in preparation for the MGM Yonkers International Trot program. Post time is 6:45 p.m. (EDT) except on those two Saturday cards, which kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 5 and 11:50 a.m. on Sept. 12, which is MGM Yonkers International Trot Day.
Following the MGM Yonkers International Trot Day card, MGM Yonkers Raceway will shift back to its Monday through Friday live schedule with first race post time each night at 6:45 p.m. (EDT).
