Edgerton, OH – There was definitely a youth movement when it came to drivers at the Paulding County Fair at Paulding, Ohio, on June 8 and June 9 as 11 drivers under the age of 30 competed. Pierce Henry was the oldest of the group at 29 with Kevin Detweiler being the youngest at 18.
The others were Jerry Miller (26), Eli Swartzentruber (25), Ty Goodell (23), Aaron Lehman (23), David Justice (22), Carson Conrad (21), Leroy Eicher (21), Braiden Rhoades (21), and Ranger Steck (20).
The under-30 crew did very well at the Paulding County Fair, winning 20 of the 37 races. Henry and Rhoades led the way with six wins apiece.
This youth movement should provide some exciting action in the Ohio Fair Racing Conference this season. The next stop for the Ohio Fair Racing Conference is the Marion County Fair in Marion on Sunday, June 28, and Monday, June 29. Post time for the first race each day will be 11 a.m. (EDT).
