Freshman pacing fillies took to the track on Wednesday (Aug. 28) at Harrah’s Hoosier Park with a pair of $67,500 Indiana Sire Stakes divisions for their fourth leg. The streaking Brookview Fancy won her fourth straight, while JK Pearl Stone rallied late to score in their respective divisions, each in a lifetime best time.

After her 4-1/2 length score last week, Ragtime Red delivered a similarly dominant performance in the second Maryland Sire Stakes preliminary round for 2-year-old fillies, held Wednesday (Aug. 28) at Ocean Downs, pacing a lifetime-best 1:55.2 mile in her $10,000 division. Determination fuels ‘Ardan’ success
When owner Bill Peshina bought Irish-bred pacer Oakwood Ardan in late December, he said he was just hoping for a nice racehorse he could watch every week and be proud of.
