3-year-old colt topped the Prix d’Amerique-sale in France

Vincennes, FR — A 3-year-old colt, owned by legendary French horseman, Jean Pierre Dubois was the most expensive horse sold at the annual Prix d’Amerique-sale Friday night (Jan. 27) at Vincennes, Paris, France, as he was sold for 470,000 Euro.

Ksar is sired by Follow Me, he by Ready Cash and out of the top mare, Mara Bourbon – both Follow Me and Mara Bourbon are trotters bred and raced by Jean Pierre Dubois.

Ksar has seven races under his belt. He has two wins and earnings of 53,930 Euro.

The second highest price at the sale was also sired by Follow Me.

It was the filly, Kalicia Josselyn, who sold for 235,000 Euro. She has raced five times winning three races.

At the sale we also take note, that a share in the stallion, Face Time Bourbon was sold for 130,000 Euro.

The average priced raised with 12.3% from last year to 23.074 Euro.
