Dayton, OH – Fearless Ginger used a confident drive by Chris Page and coasted to a 1:52 victory in the $24,000 Filly & Mare Open II pace in Thursday (Oct. 16) action at Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway.

Fearless Ginger, the prohibitive favorite, was sent directly to the lead and was untested through the opening quarter of :27.
The leading pair was able to get a :29 second quarter breather allowing her open up some daylight at the three-quarters in 1:24.
A final :28 panel was enough for the winner to put the pocket-sitting Foxy Hill (Luke Hanners) away by three-quarters of a length.
Plays In The Shade (Austin Hanners) was third.
The 4-year-old daughter of Fear The Dragon is trained by Ron Burke for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi.
She has now pocketed more than $150,000 this season with her eighth win in 2025.
Page had four winners on the night and has tied up the meet’s leading driver’s standing with Jeremy Smith – 41 wins apiece.
In the $17,000 conditioned pace for fillies and mares, Trick Of The Light (Luke Hanners) made an early move to grab the lead and held off frantic charges by five challengers in the lane to score in 1:52.
Shortly after starter Mike Woebkenberg released the field of ten, a three-way battle ensued for control of the field and pace.
Sharp Looker (Cam McCown) tried to protect her rail position but released Trick Of The Light to the lead. Got Sexy Scars (Tyler Smith) decided for the three-hole.
The opening quarter came in :26.4 and half in :55.3.
Got Sexy Scars tipped out before the three-quarters in 1:23.3, providing cover for Adashious Hanover (Kayne Kauffman).
Adashious Hanover went three-wide around the final turn to put additional pressure on the leader.
Trick Of The Light found additional challenges in the passing lane and was able to hold off a game Sharp Looker and Adashious Hanover by a neck.
The Odds On Equuleus mare is trained by Virgil Morgan, Jr. for Odds On Racing.
The 6-year-old now has four seasonal wins and 26 lifetime victories.
