Oak Grove, KY – The United States Harness Driving Club (USHDC) presented yet another feature event at Oak Grove Racing and Gaming and Danarius Dortch took Managainstcrime around the oval to scorch the competition with a handy win in 1:54 on Monday (April 20).
Managainstcrime, a 5-year-old gelded son of Captaintreacherous, used an effortless :28.2 finale, sprinting from the pocket just after the third station to silence the late charging He’s Lost In Time, driven by Peter Kleinhans, by 4-1/4 lengths.

Swing Dancing was third for John Mungillo and Ifudntnomebynow, with Od Johnson handling the lines, fourth.
Nimble Ned picked up the nickel for Joseph Hershberger.
As the wings folded, He’s Lost In Time sprinted away from post 2, with Dynamic Desire (driven by Adarryl Gates Jr.) in pursuit from post 6.
Farther out from post 8 was Ifudntnomebynow and that one continued to forge forward during the :28 opener, taking charge shortly after the opening panel, with He’s Lost In Time yielding and Managainstcrime sitting chilly in third.
After a :56.3 half, the pace quickened a bit with the top three positions unchanged and Dynamic Desire, outside every step, beginning to feel the stress and backing off.
That’s when Dortch tilted Managainstcrime to the outside, chirped once to “ask” and his charge “answered” with a burst of speed with Dortch saying after the race, “When I asked him with one chirp, he answered like the good horse he is and I felt very confident that from that point on.”
Trained by Roshun Trigg for owner Joetta Sanders, Managainstcrime pushed his 2026 scorecard to 2-2-0 in six starts vaulting his career bankroll to $58,511 in a lightly raced career of 53 starts.
Managainstcrime paid $3.66 as the 4-5 tote board favorite.
Dortch, by the way, gave the credit for the pacer’s sharp mile to trainer Trigg saying, “I’ve known Roshun for years. He got me started with the horses and taught me so much.
“He’s a very good trainer and he always has a high percentage in the money.”
Trigg, a Mississippi native, has 1,249 career wins and is within a whisker or two of $5 million in career purses.
The USHDC is in its 30th year of charitable giving, with all members donating 100% of their earnings to 501c3 charitable organizations supporting neighboring goodwill causes to national organizations — its next beneficiary being the Steele Magnolia Sanctuary on April 27.
