Washington, PA – Here is this week’s Meadows Monday Memo.
17 QUALIFIERS SET FOR TUESDAY
Hollywood Casino at The Meadows will host 17 qualifying races on Tuesday morning (June 16), starting at 10:30 a.m. Races 1-4 will be for older horses, with races 5-17 exclusively for 2-year-olds. Racing fans can watch all of the action live on the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association’s Facebook page. Qualifier video is also archived at www.youtube.com/themsoa.
GUARANTEED POOL WEDNESDAY
Saturday afternoon’s (June 13) Pentafecta was not covered, resulting in a carryover of around $1,500. The Meadows, in conjunction with the MSOA and the U.S. Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program, will guarantee that pool to $10,000 for Wednesday’s (June 17) Pentafecta. The 20-cent base wager is offered daily on the final race of the card. On Wednesday, that will be Race 12.
WRENN, PALONE TOP DRIVER STANDINGS
Ronnie Wrenn Jr. and Dave Palone continue to trade places atop the list of top drivers at The Meadows for 2026. Wrenn currently leads by two, 168-166, in total victories. Palone holds the edge in Universal Driver Rating, .422 to .407, while Wrenn has the slightly higher winning percentage, 26.8 to 26.1.
