Burke duo installed as morning line choices in Adios elims
Fifteen horses, including one filly, have entered the Grade 1 Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids, presented by 1/ST BET. Elimination races will take place at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows this Saturday, July 18, carded as races 6 and 7. A pair of Ron Burke-trainees have been installed as the morning line favorites in their hometown race.

As the old expression goes, there is no “I” in team. There is no “I” in coach, for that matter, either. Both thoughts seemed relevant as Jeff Zidek, best known in harness racing as the track announcer at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, reflected on the latest honor he received for his other gig as the head women’s bowling coach at Saint Vincent College.
