Washington, PA – The deadline to make driver changes has passed, and the fields are now set for the Grade 1 Delvin Miller Adios Pace, presented by 1/ST BET, and the Grade 3 Mickey Burke Adioo Volo, to be contested at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows this Saturday, July 25.
For the $420,500 Adios, Dexter Dunn will drive Another C Note, as Yannick Gingras will stick with elimination winner Al Papi. Ronnie Wrenn Jr had the tough choice to make between superstar filly Loua Dipa and Adios elimination runner-up Melillo, and despite drawing the outside post 9, Wrenn will drive Melillo in the final. Mike Wilder, who won the Adios in 2020 with Catch The Fire, will drive Loua Dipa.
Last Saturday (July 18), Andrew and Todd McCarthy were unable to make it to The Meadows for the elimination races due to travel issues, and gave up their drives. However, both will be back in the bike behind the horses they were originally supposed to pilot a week ago. Andrew will drive Treacherous Lou and Todd, who is going for his third straight Adios title, will sit behind Toast Of The Town.

A total of 16 fillies entered the Adioo Volo, with two eight-horse fields, each going for a purse of $64,052. The purse includes $15,000 in supplemental entry fees. The Adioo Volo divisions will followed by the Adios Final in Race 16, and will comprise a $3 Pick-3 with a 15% takeout rate and a guaranteed pool of $10,000. In all, more than $100,000 in guaranteed pools will be offered on Saturday.
