Springfield, IL — The Illinois Department of Agriculture’s Standardbred program, Bureau of County Fairs and Horse Racing, has issued revisions to the 2007 Stakes Guide.

The revisions refer to: page number of the Stakes Guide, date, and name of fair.

The updated information is then stated below the referenced pages.

Please note the following updates/corrections to the “2007 Guide”. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

p. 23 – Tuesday, August 14 – Illinois State Fair – Post time is 3:00 p.m.

p. 23 – Wednesday, August 15 – Illinois State Fair – Post time is 3:00 p.m.

p. 33 – 3-Year-Old Illinois County Fair Colt Associations – Should read: If previously nominated, horse may be supplemented on June 1 to Class A races for additional $500 or Class AA races for additional $1,000.

p. 48 – Wednesday, August 1 – Illinois Stallion Stakes, Coles County Fair, Charleston – Post time should be 5:30 p.m. – see page 80 for correct time and dates.

p. 84 – Thursday, August 9 – Effingham County Fair, Altamont – Pace – 3-Year-Old & Up Open – AE: NW $1,000 in 2007.

p. 85 – Tuesday, August 7 – Boone County Fair, Belvedere – Pace – NW $500 LT.
