An overflow entry box at the Meadowlands has resulted in a decision to split qualifiers between two mornings this week at Gaitway Farm in Englishtown, New Jersey.
A total of 99 two and three-year-olds will populate 15 qualifiers on Thursday morning while another 119 older horses are scheduled in 15 qualifiers on Saturday morning. Post time for both mornings will be 10 a.m.
“Due to the high volume of qualifying entries, the Gaitway qualifiers will be split between the two days,” said Meadowlands Director of Racing and Racing Secretary Tad Stockman. “The Meadowlands and Gaitway Farm would like to thank the horsemen for their cooperation.”
The horses are prepping for the opening of the Meadowlands fall harness meet on Friday, November 19.
