East Rutherford, NJ – This Saturday (April 18), the Meadowlands Racetrack and Carmine’s NYC are hosting an Evening with Carmine’s at the Meadowlands, a one-night dining experience honoring the legacy of the late Carmine Abbatiello.
Think heaping plates of spaghetti and meatballs, crispy chicken parm, fresh Caesar salad, and rich tiramisu – all served buffet-style so you can go back for more (and you will). This special night honors the legacy of Carmine Abbatiello – with big portions, bold flavors, and that classic Italian family-style experience.

The night will also feature a special tribute video to the late Abbatiello, along with interviews with friends and family.
Carmine’s, founded in 1990 and named in honor of Carmine Abbatiello, has long been synonymous with generous portions, Italian-American tradition, and meals meant to bring people together. This special event reflects those values while celebrating the personal connections that inspired the restaurant’s name and enduring spirit.
A portion of the proceeds from the evening will benefit the Purple Haze Standardbred Adoption Program.
