Washington, PA — Blue Ivy powered through the slop to her sixth straight victory in Wednesday’s (Nov. 30) $19,200 Filly & Mare Open Handicap Pace at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

The 1-9 favorite, Blue Ivy seized the early lead from post five, and after Aaron Merriman gave her a :29 second-quarter breather, she easily thwarted the first-over challenge of Ourlittlemiracle. The 6-year-old daughter of Captaintreacherous-Ali Blue scored in 1:52.1, 1-1/2 lengths better than the pocket-sitting Irish Daydream, with Ourlittlemiracle third.

Bill Bercury trains Blue Ivy, who has won 28 races over the past two seasons and banked $713,330 in her career, for Renee Bercury.

Jeremy Indof piloted three winners on the 13-race card, including a pair for trainer Paul Corey.
