Columbus, MN – Driver Brady Jenson was on fire again at Running Aces on Tuesday night (Aug. 25) and posted a very impressive night of work for the second straight racing program. The defending Aces champion driver for the past two seasons had a five-win night on Sunday (Aug. 23) and provided fans with an encore performance of six driving wins on the eight-race card on Tuesday.
Jenson swept the first four races of the night, including an impressive first-over score behind PD The Big Easy in the $13,200 top conditioned event of the night in 1:51.3 for the fastest mile of the evening.
It was the third win of the season and 34th career win for the 8-year-old pacer by Sweet Lou who is also owned and trained by Jenson with additional owner Ken Stauffer. The win return was $4.
A total of four of Jenson’s six winners on Tuesday were also Jenson trainees and they also included freshman trotter Fossil Fuel (by Big Oil) who posted his first pari-mutuel win in 2:01.3 and paid $5.20, Marktentwentyseven who posted his 42nd career win in 1:54.2 returning $5.60 and recent millionaire No Lou Zing (also by Sweet Lou) who notched his 39th career tally in 1:52.4 paying $2.60.
Alta Revelry N (by Sunshine Beach) posted a very impressive gate-to-wire score in the $17,000 Open Handicap pace in 1:51.4, holding off heavy favorite Cash Money Twenty by a head for his sixth triumph of the season and his 34th career win. The talented 8-year-old is trained and driven by Luke Plano for J M F Racing.
Jenson now has a six-win lead at the top of the 2026 driver standings over Casey Leonard and Jenson is also sitting on top of the trainer standings currently with a 19-win cushion. There are 11 racing nights left to go in the season at Running Aces including this Thursday night (Aug. 27) which offers an eight-race program starting at 6 p.m. (CDT) and will feature a carryover of $8,928.55 for the 20-cent Pick-5 Jackpot wager starting in race four.
