Hamburg, NY — In co-operation with the newly formed Upstate New York Harness Writers Association, which consists of Buffalo Raceway, Batavia Downs, Vernon Downs and Tioga Downs, president Tim Bojarski and delegate Sam Pendolino are proud to present the awards for the month of April at Buffalo Raceway.

Each winner received a personalized embroidered tote briefcase.

The Driver of the Month is Matt Kakaley (21 wins in 105 races); Trainer of the Month is Bob Gruber (14 wins in 77 starts, and $52,162 in earnings); and the Horse of the Month is Scotts Rolls Royce (three wins, including his first Open Pace). Bojarski accepted the award for Scotts Rolls Royce.

These awards will be given out each month to the winning participants.
