Columbus, OH — Have you always wanted to try driving a horse but didn’t know where to start? The 2013 Carriage Driving 101 Clinic will be on Saturday (Feb. 16) at Tipperary Farms in McDonald, Pa. (approximately 30 minutes north of The Meadows Racetrack). The cost is $100 for the day, which starts at 9 a.m., and includes lunch.
Topics to be covered include harnessing, balancing a cart, show clothing, driving games, and safety.
There will also be a variety of carriages and harnesses available for viewing. Speakers will be in the morning, with driving in the afternoon. Experienced driving horses will be provided — you do not need to bring a horse.
