Fulton County Fair completes successful meet
The Fulton County Fair at Wauseon, Ohio, completed a very successful two-day meet with a 14-race card on Tuesday (Sept. 5). Many grandstand activities conducted by Jim and Bill Ehrsam and Amy Pennington were certainly contributing factors to the success of the fair’s harness racing program.

Shenandoah County Fair racing recap
The 100th year of harness racing at the Shenandoah County Fair in Woodstock kicked off Wednesday afternoon (Aug. 30) under sunny skies and in front of a large, appreciative crowd. A card of eight races was contested at the opener of a four day non-wagering meet, which continues through Saturday (Sept. 2).

Sports Sinner was a wire-to-wire, 1:53.4 winner in the $42,000 Gene Riegle Memorial Open Pace, held Friday night (Aug. 25) at the Great Darke County Fair. My Hero Ron was second and Lucky Lime was third.

Purses for FFA at Caldwell increased
Purses for both the Free For All Pace and the Free For All Trot at the Noble County Fair (Caldwell, Ohio) have been increased to $1,500 for one division.
