Silver Label and driver Scott Zeron made a powerful move without cover on the final turn and powered to a stakes record-equaling 1:47.3 performance in the $171,400 Lady Liberty, for open pacing mares, at The Meadowlands on Saturday afternoon (Aug. 5).

M-M’s Dream cruised to a 1:50 victory in the $131,250 Dr. John R. Steele Memorial, the first trotting stakes of the Hambletonian Day (Saturday, Aug. 5) program at The Meadowlands.

Oh Well, driven by Tim Tetrick, took immediate control over the field and made his foes chase him the entire mile to win the first of two $138,500 divisions of the Stanley Dancer Memorial on Saturday night at The Meadowlands by two lengths.

Charlie May, who took his mark of 1:47.1 at The Meadowlands last year but knew cruel luck here the year before that, had all the luck go his way in the $444,000 William R. Haughton Memorial for free-for-all pacers on Saturday night, equaling his lifetime mark after sliding up the pylons late to defeat Tattoo Artist by a half length.
