Geocentric (Sweet Lou-Geometry) threw down a :26.3 final panel en route to a 1:49.4 mile, the fastest clocking for any 2-year-old pacer this year, in her $80,000 first-round division of the Kentucky Sire Stakes on Tuesday (Aug. 1) at the Red Mile. The program also featured an $80,000 Sire Stakes split for 3-year-old trotting fillies, as well as three $30,000 Kentucky Commonwealth Series splits and four $15,000 Kentucky Goldenrod Series divisions, likewise featuring 2-year-old pacing fillies and 3-year-old trotting fillies.

The 34-year-old, who has taken the leading role with the family stable from his father John, will send out Southwind Coors in the $1 million Hambletonian, the sport’s premier event for 3-year-old trotters, and Righteous Resolve in the companion $500,000 Hambletonian Oaks for sophomore female trotters.
McIntosh sweeps Battle of Waterloo eliminations
