The Upstate New York Chapter of the United States Harness Writers Association and Batavia Downs has announced that driver Kyle Swift will receive the 2023 Rising Star Award during the Night of Distinction awards presentation that will be held at Batavia Downs on Saturday (Dec. 9).

Muscle Dynasty brushed down the backstretch and won confidently in the $25,000 Open Handicap Trot at Bally’s Dover on Tuesday night (Dec. 5).

Finishing in 12th place in the New York Sire Stakes Excelsior series may not sound all that impressive to the casual observer. However, for small breeders Gary Messenger and Ken Weckstein, it’s the company they keep that sets them apart from the rest.
