Woodbine Mohawk Park has adjusted the first race post time for this Saturday’s (Aug. 8) live racing, moving it 20 minutes later to better align the evening’s card. The first race post time on Saturday (Aug. 8) is now 6:50 p.m.

$3,000 guaranteed Pick-5 pool at Batavia Downs Wednesday
After no one hit the Pick-5 wager at Batavia Downs on Sunday (Aug. 2), there is a $985 carryover pool for that wager in the first race on Wednesday (Aug. 5) and the management of Batavia Downs has announced that pool will be guaranteed at $3,000 through the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering program.
Racing returns to Honesdale (PA) this weekend for Wayne County Fair
Horsemen are reminded that along with being a regular stop on the Pennsylvania Fair Circuit offering the standard PA Fair Sire Stakes events for 2- and 3-year-olds, the historic Honesdale oval will also host Free For All pace and trot overnight events.
Running Aces smashes handle record on Sunday
Running Aces had a record setting night on Sunday (Aug. 2) as bettors wagered a total of $654,779 on the 12-race program at the Minnesota five-eighths mile oval. The previous handle record at Running Aces was $414,945 set back in 2022.
