It is Fan Appreciation Weekend this Friday (June 30) and Saturday (July 1) at Meadowlands Racetrack.

As the Grand Circuit stakes season gets underway, The Meadowlands needs the support of those in the industry who benefit most from these stakes to help cover the cost of maintaining the program at its current level by sponsoring them.

The races scheduled for Saturday at Allison, Iowa have been canceled due to rain.

In a joint effort, Eldorado Scioto Downs and the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association will be providing ‘Lunch with the Babies’ on Monday (June 26).

Racing applications for the 2023 fall harness season at Shenandoah Downs will be available beginning July 1 at shenandoahdowns.com.

This weekend at The Meadowlands, those with a nose for great wine — and great racing — will have an opportunity to indulge in both. Live harness racing will take place on Friday (June 23) and Saturday (June 24) with a first-race post time of 6:20 p.m.

The Meadowlands, in concert with the Hambletonian Society, will again offer discounted entry fees to those 2-year-olds eligible to the Tompkins-Geers Grand Circuit stakes that have also paid into the Kindergarten and Freshman Fall Final Four.

Oak Grove continues its racing schedule, featuring thrilling races, increased purses, and an action-packed program for horse racing enthusiasts. The racing meet will continue on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays until July 4 and concluding the race meet on July 9 and 10, with post time set at 3 p.m. (CDT).

Harrington Raceway has rescheduled its final qualifiers before the summer break for Tuesday (June 27) at 10 a.m.
