 There will be much to do at The Meadowlands this weekend, so a trip to the track to get in on the fun is highly recommended.

Woodbine Entertainment management would like to advise all racing participants and customers that 2-year-olds qualifiers scheduled for Friday morning at Woodbine Mohawk Park will proceed, starting one hour earlier at 9 a.m.

Live racing from Monticello has been canceled on Thursday (June 8) due to unsafe levels of toxic smoke from the fires in Canada.

Harrah’s Philadelphia has canceled live racing for Thursday (June 8) due to the anticipated air quality from the Canadian wildfires.

Due to the Environment Canada Special Air Quality Alert for Toronto, and consistent with the advice received from veterinarians, medical practitioners, and other racing officials including the AGCO, Woodbine has made the decision to cancel the race card at Mohawk Park on Thursday (June 8) with the primary consideration being the health and safety of the horses and racing participants. Woodbine has also cancelled Thursday’s Thoroughbred race card.

If you are bringing horses onto the property, it is required by the state of Kentucky that they have a current EIA (Coggins) test dated within the last 12 months and a health paper for each animal entering.

Woodbine Mohawk Park will be hosting a special complimentary owners breakfast this Saturday morning for 2-year-old races.

The Meadowlands Racetrack is hosting a free to play handicapping contest this Saturday (June 10). The contest is open to anyone over 18 years of age and offers a $10,000 total prize pool, with prize payouts to the top ten finishers.

MGM Northfield Park management reminds guests that the Home of the Flying Turns will pick up Monday racing beginning with Monday (June 5).
