Woodbine Mohawk Park’s Race Office has added three new Pop-Up Series for March, with the first to begin on Friday (March 7).

“It’s been a long winter and we’ve been battling Mother Nature this week but we look forward to start the 2025 live harness racing season,” Buffalo Raceway General Manager Jon Cramer said as the half-mile track located at the Erie County Fairgrounds prepares for its 83rd season, a 55-day meet, beginning on Saturday (March 1). Post time for the 12-race program is 2:30 p.m.

Due to track conditions, Monticello Raceway is forced to cancel live racing once again on Wednesday (Feb. 26) and Thursday (Feb. 27).

Shenandoah Downs will celebrate its 10th year of pari-mutuel harness racing with a pair of seven-week meets at the Woodstock oval in 2025.

Woodbine Mohawk Park management is informing all trainers that training on Wednesday morning (Feb. 26) has been canceled to allow for track maintenance.

Continued mild temperatures have forced The Raceway to cancel its Tuesday night (Feb. 25) program due to deteriorating track conditions.

Due to warm temperatures causing a quick thaw of the track, the judges at Batavia Downs made the decision to cancel the live card of racing scheduled for Monday (Feb. 24) out of an abundance of caution for the safety of all the participants.

Due to track conditions, live racing on Monday (Feb. 24) and Tuesday (Feb. 25) at Monticello Raceway has been canceled.
