Woodbine Mohawk Park has cancelled the Wednesday (March 5) training session due to inclement weather and will instead open for training on Tuesday (March 4) from 7 a.m. to Noon.

This Saturday (March 8), Jessica and Jenna Otten will be joined by Emily Gaskin for the live Meadowlands broadcast to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Beginning Tuesday night (March 4), MGM Northfield Park will debut it’s “Super-Sized” Super High 5’s – by offering four 10-horse fields per card every Tuesday and Wednesday evening – with 20-cent Super High 5 wagering offered on all four of the events (Races 1, 7, 10 & 13 each night).

Woodbine Mohawk Park’s Race Office has added three new Pop-Up Series for March, with the first to begin on Friday (March 7).

“It’s been a long winter and we’ve been battling Mother Nature this week but we look forward to start the 2025 live harness racing season,” Buffalo Raceway General Manager Jon Cramer said as the half-mile track located at the Erie County Fairgrounds prepares for its 83rd season, a 55-day meet, beginning on Saturday (March 1). Post time for the 12-race program is 2:30 p.m.

Due to track conditions, Monticello Raceway is forced to cancel live racing once again on Wednesday (Feb. 26) and Thursday (Feb. 27).

Shenandoah Downs will celebrate its 10th year of pari-mutuel harness racing with a pair of seven-week meets at the Woodstock oval in 2025.
