Freehold, NJ — Charles Leerhsen’s soon-to-be-released book “Crazy Good: The True Story of Dan Patch, the Most Famous Horse in America” receives mention in the “Hot Type” section of the June issue of Vanity Fair magazine.

The section also includes a photo of “Crazy Good” among a stack of books.

The magazine, with a circulation of 1.1 million, features Bobby Kennedy on the cover and the much-discussed Miley Cyrus interview/photo spread.

A 6,000-word excerpt from “Crazy Good” will run in a Sports Illustrated edition in mid May. The book, published by Simon & Schuster, is scheduled to be released May 20.
