Columbus, OH — Dr. Alan Frank Weisenberg, 77, died Aug. 27, 2024, at OhioHealth Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio.
Alan and Cynthia Lee (Gallion) Weisenberg would have celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary this October.
Dr. Weisenberg was born Feb. 28, 1947, to Shirley (Davis) and Elliott Weisenberg in Cleveland, Ohio. He became a big brother to Dennis (Denny) three years later and enjoyed the role his entire life, talking to him every single day for 75 years.

He loved nothing more than to share his passion with family and friends.

He worked late nights and long hours as an emergency room physician for Mount Carmel’s East and West Hospitals for 39 years. He devoted his working life to caring for others in need.
Alan and Cindy met at Mount Carmel Hospital where Cindy worked as a nurse, sharing their devotion to helping patients.
Dr. Weisenberg was a longtime member of Temple Beth Shalom in Columbus, Ohio, where he generously endowed the Temple Library in honor of his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy; children, Alisabeth (Libby) Joy (John Bogosian) and Benjamin (Alison) Davis; grandchildren, Brian Alan Bogosian, Charles Davis Bogosian, Lucy Jeanne and John Harrison; nephews, Aaron, Jason, Kevin, and Quinton Gallion; and nieces, Lynsey (Gallion) Snyder and Alexis (Gallion) Weinstein.
