Vernon, NY — The first qualifiers of the year for Vernon Downs will be held this Friday, April 4, at 11:00 a.m. Entries are due by Thursday, April 3, at 10:00 a.m.

Vernon will host two more qualifiers before the curtain comes up on the 2008 racing season. They will be held on Tuesday, April 8, and Friday, April 11, both at 11:00 a.m. Entries will be due the day before each qualifier at 10:00 a.m.

Vernon Downs will begin its 90-day race meet on Friday, April 18. Post time for the first race of 2008 will be 6:55 p.m.
