Harrah’s Philadelphia Hi-5 jackpot $74k and growing

Chester, PA — The growing Jackpot Hi-5 carryover at Harrah’s Philadelphia now stands at $74,112.98 in advance of Friday’s (Aug. 9) card.

Thursday afternoon’s (Aug. 8) fifth race saw odds-on favorite Joey Bats provide Tim Tetrick one of seven wins on the 14-race card and also key a 4-2-1-5-3 Hi-5 combination that returned $56.24 to successful backers. With multiple players once again successful in selecting the first five finishers, the carryover has grown to more than double the highest dividend the wager has yielded to date.

The 20-cent wager carries a low 15 percent takeout and occurs daily in the fifth race, with the carryover paid out in the event of one unique winner. In the event of no or multiple winners, the carryover progresses to the next card. The highest Jackpot Hi-5 dividend to date at Harrah’s Philadelphia is $35,989.90, claimed on the May 23 program.

Post time on Friday is 12:25 p.m. Eastern.
