Milton, ON – Woodbine Entertainment announced Monday a mandatory payout for the Standardbred Jackpot Hi-5 will be offered this Friday (Dec. 23) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

The carryover for Friday’s mandatory payout is $336,533.29. Jackpot Hi-5 wagering has been suspended until this Friday’s mandatory payout.

The Jackpot Hi-5 mandatory payout takes place on the final card ahead of Christmas and continues Woodbine’s trend of offering this significant wagering opportunity during the holidays.

The Jackpot Hi-5 requires horseplayers to select the top five finishers in order. A horseplayer can only win the entire jackpot if they hold the only winning ticket for that evening’s wager. If there are multiple winning tickets, half the pool is paid out, while the other half is added to the carryover.

The entire carryover will be paid out, plus new money wagered, during Friday’s mandatory payout. The Jackpot Hi-5 has a $0.20 minimum and a 15 percent takeout.

Entries for Friday’s card and the Jackpot Hi-5 mandatory payout race will be released on Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 20).
