East Rutherford, NJ – Meadowlands’ Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Jason Settlemoir posted an update on the drivers injured in the eighth race at the Meadowlands on Friday night (Nov. 7).
Settlemoir wrote…
“This morning I spoke to all of the drivers involved in last night’s (Nov. 6) accident. Brett Beckwith’s X-rays on his right hand came back negative (nothing broken) but he is swollen and sore, he will be taking the night (Nov. 7) off at the Meadowlands Racetrack. Brad Chisholm (Happy birthday young man) is sore but doing good and will be back in the race bike tonight and Joe Bongiorno is sore as well and will be driving too. Anibal Borjas is sore today but it doing fine.”
In addition, The Meadowlands Racetrack also posted, “Positive news on all drivers involved in last night’s accident. All the horses are ok, just scraped and bruised.”
