Nadia Lobell to be raced as single dash in 2008

by Connie Hochstetler

Lexington, KY — The first payment for the Nadia Lobell on February 15 had over double the nominations from 2007.

This year, due to scheduling conflicts, no eliminations will be held. The Nadia Lobell for 3-year-old filly pacers will be limited to the top 10 money earners in 2008 who declare for the race on September 7. In addition, The Red Mile will card a consolation race for $20,000G for the same night. Horses must be declared into the race and a minimum of six betting interests may be required to fill.

Along with the Nadia Lobell, the Moni Maker, Kentucky Futurity, Tattersalls Pace and 3-year-old Bluegrass Stakes had marked increases in nomination and sustaining fees from 2007.

The Red Mile would like to thank everyone who staked their horses.
