Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 8-11, Friday, Jan. 17, 2020

Minus $54 last Saturday night. I did very well in the fall meet that just ended, 28 Pick-4’s, four winning tickets, plus $908.90. Winter meet record: five Pick-4s, zero won, five lost, minus $95.

Tonight’s tickets: 50-cent play: 56/349/189/2,10 = $18

Analysis:

Race 8: (5) TT’s D-Jay comes off an improved effort. My top pick is (6) Marion Gondolier, who was used hard without cover in last.

Race 9: This is pretty wide open but I think I have a good shot to cover the race with (3) Blue Magic, (4)Freshette Hanover and (9) All American N.

Race 10: The two mares that were recently racing in Canada, (8) Sudden Passing, and (1) I Wish You Well, both seem to fit well here. But I also used (9) Cracklin Rosie, who won big from post 10 against similar two back.

Race 11: (10) La Grange A gets a key drop, picks up Gingras. (2) Life Well Lived was used hard setting a pressured pace against tougher.
