Perfect Sting wins qualifier in 1:52.2 at The Meadowlands

East Rutherford, NJ — Perfect Sting won his first qualifier of the year, stopping the timer in 1:52.2 Saturday morning at The Meadowlands. The 3-year-old colt pacer led from start to finish for driver David Miller and trainer Joe Holloway.

Fractions for the mile were :28.3, :58, and 1:26.3. Perfect Sting sprinted home with a :25.4 last quarter.

Last year, Perfect Sting was undefeated in 10 starts and received the Dan Patch Award for best 2-year-old male pacer.

The homebred son of Always B Miki-Shebestingin is owned by Brittany Farms and Val D’Or Farms.
